I Tried Tribrid Laser at Kairos Here’s What My Healing Journey Really Looked Like
When we decided to bring Tribrid laser technology to Kairos Aesthetic Medicine, I knew I wanted to experience it firsthand—not just as a provider, but as a patient.

So here it is—my real Tribrid recovery journey, exactly as it happened.
Why I Chose Tribrid

Day 1: Early Healing
What I noticed:
• Skin felt smooth. The MENDS (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris-basically all of the damage rising to the surface) were not present yet.
• Redness present but expected. Skin slightly tender, but not painful. Sunburn feeling was gone.
• Began full aftercare protocol. At Kairos, we send you home with all aftercare products needed for optimized healing and results.
This is usually when patients are surprised—the skin often feels better than it looks.
Day 2: The Swelling Day (Totally Normal)
What changed:
• MENDS appeared-they look like a bunch of pepper has been sprinkled all over the treatment area
• Skin felt tight and dry, especially around the mouth and neck
• A few mends started falling off naturally
• I kept my head above my heart to help with the swelling
• Reapplied moisturizer and sprayed my HOCL mist often
Swelling can peak on Day 2—but it gets better from here.
Day 3: Active Shedding Begins
What I noticed:
• Mends around high-movement areas (mouth, chin) began exfoliating
• Neck felt very tight
Gentle cleansing is key here. No picking—ever. Let the skin do what it’s designed to do.
Day 4: Turning the Corner
What changed:
• Significant shedding of the “peppers” on the face
• Continued washing morning, noon, and night
• New skin had formed (re-epithelialization)
This is a major milestone in healing.
Days 5–6: Neck Healing Phase
What I experienced:
• Face mostly clear of mends
• Neck began shedding more
• Itchiness increased
• Moisturizer + OTC antihistamine helped
They body usually takes an extra few days for recovery in comparison to the face.
Day 7: Skin Feels “Normal” Again
What stood out:
• Minimal mends left on borders and neck
• Skin felt dry but calm
• Continued moisturizer and soothe/protect
• Carboxy gel mask made a big difference in hydration and redness
Most patients feel comfortable being out and about at this point. Tinted SPF or makeup can easily cover any redness to the skin that is still present.
Day 10: TheGlow Starts ✨
What I saw:
• Glow becoming noticeable
• Skin still pink (expected). Easily covered with tinted SPF
• Texture felt smooth again
• Compliments started coming in
This is usually when patients say, “Now I see why this was worth it.”
What Happens Next: Collagen Takes Over
While the early glow is exciting, Tribrid’s true magic happens beneath the surface.
• Collagen production ramps up around months 3–4
• Skin continues to strengthen, smooth, and refine
• Results build gradually and naturally
This is why Tribrid is about long-term skin health, not instant gratification.
